AIM Photonics announced today that Dr. William W. (Wade) Cook has been appointed Executive Director of the Institute.

This 10-week instructor-led online course guides students through the step-by-step process of designing a transceiver. Participants have access to AIM Photonics Virtual Design Center to work online with the industry-standard software and PDK library components to create an integrated photonics circuit design project.

AIM Photonics Summer Academy’s interactive design project provides direct hands-on learning in real-world PIC design

A three-day integrated photonics bootcamp, held from Mar 22 -24, was organized by the Initiative for Knowledge and Innovation in Manufacturing (IKIM), AIM Photonics, and Bridgewater State University. Lecture topics focused on photonic devices, their applications, and application-specific photonic device packaging challenges.
