PDK AGREEMENTS
The first step in designing for AIM Photonics wafer fabrication services (including MPW, private or custom runs) is to determine which component libraries you will need for the design(s) you want to prototype. If you are unsure, let us know and we will work with you to determine which component library best suits your needs.
Upon receipt of your completed PDK Access Request, we will provide you with the appropriate license/agreement(s). When the appropriate agreement(s) are executed, PDK access will be granted.
AIM Photonics Process Design Kit License Agreement (PDKLA)
This license is for development use only. Commercialization of a device based on these components requires separate agreements with Analog Photonics and the Research Foundation.
This license covers the following libraries:
Technical Data Use Agreement (TDUA)
This license is for development use or resale, although commercialization of a device based on these components requires additional agreements with the Research Foundation. The license includes intellectual property developed and transferred to The Research Foundation by joint development partners.

Spark Photonics Component Library
Agreements for AIM Photonics are executed through the Research Foundation for the State University of New York on behalf of The SUNY Polytechnic Institute. This is the organization who is responsible for the administrative management of AIM Photonics.
