AIM Photonics’ Wade Cook Appears on “Why ROC”

AIM Photonics Executive Director Wade Cook appeared recently on WROC-TV Channel 8’s Why ROC TV segment to discuss how AIM Photonics is leveraging the assets of western New York to support its mission to advance integrated photonic circuit manufacturing technology development in the U.S.

“Rochester is a world leader in optics, photonics, imaging and lasers,” Cook said. “It’s a great place to be doing any kind of photonics work.”

In addition to the city’s accessible world-class optics industry, Cook also highlighted AIM Photonics’ partnership with the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology in helping the Institute to create an adaptive integrated photonic circuit workforce capable of meeting the integrated photonics industry’s needs.
