Local high school students will celebrate Manufacturing Day with AIM Photonics on October 6, 2023. Students from Cohoes High School’s AP Physics class and a group of 11th and 12th grade students from Tamarac High School will learn about silicon photonics manufacturing and tour the Albany NanoTech Complex with AIM Photonics Director of Education and Workforce Development Bob Geer and Photonics Engineering Manager Nicholas Fahrenkopf.
During their visit, students passionate about STEM fields will have the unique opportunity to:
